Body Language, Why It Matters
Infographic
Description
When we think of the interpreter of nonverbal communication, it is a reference to the perception the interpreter is forming. This is critical because perceptions are said to be formed by 33% of how we speak, 7% of our words and 55% by our body language (Phutela, 2015). This shows that we are sending nonverbal cues whether we are aware of it or not. It confirms that people place the most weight on our body language to perceive messages.
