Multiple #sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the brain and spinal cord. The body’s immune system attacks its own myelin (the fatty, insulating layer surrounding neurons). These attacks occur in multiple areas of the central nervous system. Symptoms include: fatigue, visual problems, numbness or tingling in the limbs, and trouble with balance.
