How much water you should drink depends on your size, #weight, activity level, and the climate in which you live. The National Academies recommends that adults drink 91 fluid ounces per day for women and 125 fluid ounces per day for men. You should generally consume a half-ounce to an ounce of fluid for each pound of body weight.
