I chose this image simply because I thought it was important to include second hand smoking as a part of my health topic of smoking. This image informs us of some facts regarding the matter, including statistics of how many people are negatively affected by it. It is important to understand that it is not just smokers themselves who are impacted by smoking, but those around them as well. The course readings it relates to are specifically Chapter 7 (Cardiovascular Health) and Chapter 8 (Cancer).
