This chart shows the divorce statistics, when and why marriage became less common and other interesting facts about divorce. I believe that because the divorce rate got so high in the 1980's – early 2000's it created fear of marriage for the children of that time, thus many young adults do not want to get married until a later age so they have time to better themselves before committing to someone else. I think this will eventually decrease the rate of divorce in America.
