Description
Anyone who says that city people are soft hasn’t experienced a concentrated blast of wind as it hurtles along the glass and steel buildings that line Lexington Avenue. In fact, the coldest I’ve ever been was not the summit of Mount Washington, but Boston’s financial district. It’s all about preparation. Suffice to say, I’ll take -20 temps and 80 mph winds in my insulated outerwear and Sorel boots any day over dress slacks and a blazer on a 10 degree day with occasional gusts.
